Meet Recap

At the McNeil Invitational Cross Country meet, our Grulla Girls Cross Country team did a spectacular job in competing in the JV 5A-6A division. The old Settlers Park had numerous competitive athletes that Grulla Girls were able to retrieve 3 medal at the McNeil Invitational meet. The capacity over 500 athletes in the JV 5A-6A division we had Kaylyn De La Rosa placing 8th, Chelsey Castillo placing 21st, Denise Rodriguez 34th, Cristina Vela placing 45th, Valerie Gutierrez placing 48th, Carolyn Villarreal 50, Marlynn Pompa Gutierrez placing 154, and Carolina Alamillo placing 174. With the quality and quantity of the amateur athletes present in this meet these young ladies were aggressive and competitive.
